Pakistan Announces Provisional Squad for AFC Asian Cup Qualifier

The Pakistan Football Federation has revealed a preliminary squad of 27 players for their forthcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Myanmar on June 10.

The selected team features Ali Hayder Shah, a forward playing in Denmark, and Ryan Mohammad, a winger based in Scotland. However, notable players missing from the list include Mohammad Saddam, Imran Kayani, Easah Suliman, and Otis Khan.

Defender Mohibullah has been recalled to the national side.

The provisional roster includes three goalkeepers: Yusuf Butt, Saqib Hanif, and Hasan Ali.

The defensive unit comprises Mamoon Moosa, Mohammad Fazal, Waqar Ahsan, Abdul Rehman, and Umar Hayat, in addition to Abdullah Iqbal, Haseeb Ahmed Khan, and Mohibullah.

The midfield selections are Alamgir Ghazi, Harun Hamid, Ali Uzair, and Yasir Arfat. Moin Ahmed, Umar Ali, Abdul Samad, Rahis Nabi, and Zaid Shah are also set to reinforce the midfield.

The forward line consists of Fareedullah, Adeel Younas, McKeal Abdullah, Mohammad Waheed, Shayak Dost, Ali Hayder, and Mohammad Ryan.
