The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a Temporary Mobile Registration System to facilitate overseas Pakistanis and international travelers using their mobile devices in Pakistan, according to official sources.
Through this initiative, temporary visitors are enabled to register their personal mobile phones for a maximum duration of 120 days. This service is accessible with each visit to Pakistan, as stated in a press release by the regulatory body.
This user-focused system intends to provide consistent mobile connectivity for tourists, thereby facilitating seamless communication during their stay within Pakistan.
