Travelers and tourists intending to visit northern or mountainous areas are advised to stay informed about local weather updates and adhere to safety guidelines.

Past Heatwave Conditions

Previously, temperatures soared to 50 degrees Celsius, with perceived heat reaching a scorching 60°C in Lahore. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) indicated that the current heatwave is expected to continue for another 24 hours, with potential temperature increases of up to 7°C.

The recent heatwave in Lahore saw temperatures climb to 44°C, with felt heat reaching 47°C. Meteorological authorities reported that the actual perceived temperature peaked at 50°C, with intensity levels hitting 60°C.
