Nawaz Sharif Extends London Stay Due to Health Concerns
Citing ongoing health issues, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, who previously served as prime minister three times, has prolonged his stay in London, according to sources familiar with the situation.
These sources indicated that the PML-N leader’s extended stay is a result of scheduled medical evaluations performed by international medical professionals who are closely monitoring his well-being.
Sharif, who had arrived in London from Belarus earlier in April for what was intended to be a two-week visit, has since changed his return travel arrangements, the sources revealed.
In related news, the PML-N’s UK chapter is planning to organize a gathering for party members in honor of Nawaz Sharif.
On April 12, Nawaz Sharif arrived at Luton Airport around midday. He was greeted upon arrival by prominent PML-N UK figures such as Ahsan Dar.
Prior to Sharif’s arrival, supporters of PTI and PML-N engaged in verbal altercations outside the Park Lane apartments. A significant number of PML-N supporters had assembled to welcome Nawaz Sharif.
