Amir Dismisses Babar with In-swinger in PSL 10
LAHORE: Veteran Quetta Gladiators bowler Mohammad Amir shared his thoughts on taking the wicket of Peshawar Zalmi’s captain, Babar Azam, for the second time in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, during a match held here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
Amir, who had previously dismissed Babar for no score in their earlier encounter in this league edition, successfully deceived the prominent batter with a skillfully delivered in-swinging ball.
Recognizing the significance of the wicket, the left-arm fast bowler celebrated emphatically before the Gladiators’ team area.
His initial breakthrough, complemented by Faheem Ashraf’s impressive five-wicket performance, enabled Quetta Gladiators to secure a decisive 64-run victory over Peshawar Zalmi.

Mohammad Amir then acknowledged Babar Azam as a significant player and explained how he outsmarted the star batsman.
“Babar Azam is undoubtedly a great player. My strategy always revolves around utilizing the swing with the new ball, irrespective of whether it’s Saim or Babar. I anticipated that Babar would anticipate the outswinger, so I opted to bring the ball back in,” he concluded.
