Karachi Airport Flight Operations Suspended Until Midnight

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) announced on Thursday that flight operations at Karachi Airport will remain suspended until 12:00 AM tonight.

According to the PAA, this suspension is due to operational reasons. Passengers intending to fly are advised to contact their respective airlines for updates regarding their flight schedules.

Earlier in the day, the PAA had indicated that flight operations at Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot airports would be suspended until midday. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also stated that the present security situation in the country is impacting air operations.

As a safety precaution, certain air routes are being temporarily restricted, affecting flights using those routes. The temporary route closures aim to safeguard national airlines’ assets and ensure passenger safety, according to the statement.
