India Seeks IMF Review of Pakistan’s Loans Amidst Rising Tensions

NEW DELHI: Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following a fatal attack on tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India has requested the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to assess its loan provisions to Pakistan, according to a government source who spoke with Reuters on Friday.

Vance states that the U.S. hopes tensions between Pakistan and India will not lead to a wider regional conflict.
