Iftikhar Ahmed Achieves Milestone in T20 Cricket

Pakistani all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed has voiced his happiness after achieving a noteworthy landmark in T20 cricket. He is currently participating in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025, representing Guyana Amazon Warriors.

The 34-year-old has become the eighth Pakistani batter to surpass 6,000 runs in the T20 format.

Iftikhar conveyed his feelings on Instagram, stating: “Alhamdulillah 🤲🏻 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ T20 runs ✅ Blessed to achieve this milestone, but the result of the match left a bitter taste.”

Shoaib Malik leads Pakistani batsmen in T20s with 13,571 runs from 557 games, maintaining an average of 35.99 and a strike rate of 127.24, including 83 half-centuries.

Babar Azam holds the second position, having scored 11,330 runs in 320 matches at an average of 43.07 and a strike rate of 129.33, with 93 half-centuries and 11 centuries.

Iftikhar’s international T20 career includes 66 matches for Pakistan, where he has scored 998 runs at an average of 24.34 and a strike rate of 129.10, including four half-centuries.

In domestic and franchise T20 cricket, he has featured in 311 games, accumulating 6,007 runs at an average of 29.73 and a strike rate of 129.48, comprising 35 fifties and one century.
