Rashid Naseem Celebrated by Guinness World Records on Nunchaku Title Anniversary

KARACHI: The Guinness World Records acknowledged Pakistani mixed martial artist Rashid Naseem on Tuesday, marking the 10th anniversary of his nunchaku record.

Naseem, recognized for holding numerous records for Pakistan, initially achieved the distinction of shattering the most clay sporting targets in a single minute using nunchaku back in June 2015.

The accomplished record breaker successfully decimated 158 clay targets with nunchaku, outperforming Samuel Sprague of the United States of America, who had previously taken down 102.

Naseem’s achievement has remained unbroken for a decade and has now earned a place on the All-Time Greatest Best of the Best Records list.

Guinness World Records stated, “We extend our congratulations to Pakistan’s Muhammad Rashid Naseem, a serial record breaker. His record for the highest number of clay sporting targets destroyed in one minute with nunchaku has impressively stood for 10 years.”

It is worth mentioning that Rashid Naseem’s accomplishments have been highlighted in the Guinness World Records book on several occasions.

In 2022, Rashid’s record for ‘most playing cards removed between two balanced bottles using a nunchaku in a minute’ was celebrated as one of the year’s top records.

To date, the mixed martial artist has successfully registered over 100 records, including seven with nunchaku.
