Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan Amid Global Dip

On Wednesday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a downturn, mirroring a similar trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs345,800, reflecting a decrease of Rs3,400.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 10-gram gold also declined, reaching Rs296,467 after a reduction of Rs2,915.

Internationally, the gold rate also saw a decrease on Wednesday, with APGJSA noting the rate at $3,276 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is $34 lower than the previous day.

The price of silver per tola also experienced a decrease of Rs70, ultimately settling at Rs3,427 in Pakistan.

On the preceding day, Tuesday, the gold price per tola had increased by Rs2,100, reaching a final price of Rs349,200.
