Gold Prices Decline Further in Pakistan
The price of gold in Pakistan experienced additional reductions on Wednesday, mirroring declines observed in the global market. Domestically, the per tola gold rate decreased by Rs200, settling at Rs358,100.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs171 to trade at Rs307,013.
On the preceding day, Tuesday, the per tola gold price had already seen a decrease of Rs500, reaching Rs358,300.
Internationally, gold rates also diminished. The global rate, as reported by APGJSA, was $3,354 per ounce (including a $20 premium), representing a $2 decrease.
Conversely, the price of silver per tola saw an increase of Rs59, reaching Rs4,072.
