FWCCI Appreciates TDAP’s Export Training Initiative

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FWCCI) acknowledged the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Faisalabad Office’s commendable initiative to conduct export-focused training sessions in collaboration with FWCCI. President Shahida Aftab and founder president Rubina Amjad expressed their appreciation.

During her address to the session’s participants, Shahida Aftab provided an overview of FWCCI, highlighting its role in representing the trade, industry, and business interests of female entrepreneurs in Faisalabad. She lauded the TDAP Faisalabad office for its significant contributions to boosting exports from the region.

FWCCI Initiatives for Women’s Empowerment

Rubina Amjad, the Founder President, elaborated on various FWCCI initiatives, including the establishment of the first Women Business Incubation Centre, a Women Resource Centre, and the Pakistan Women Export Facilitation and Display Centre. She emphasized the substantial export potential of products made by women in both traditional and emerging international markets.

Rubina Amjad added that FWCCI is working closely with TDAP to encourage women entrepreneurs to engage in export activities.

Naheed Akhtar, Director of TDAP, addressed the attendees, underscoring the importance of women’s empowerment and highlighting the significance of exporting products to viable markets. She mentioned the wide array of products with export potential that could generate higher revenues and valuable foreign exchange. Akhtar pledged to continue organizing export-related training sessions in the future.
