Hajj Registration Deadline Extended for Private Scheme
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has declared an extension for Hajj pilgrim registration under the private scheme, responding to disruptions caused by the recent flood situation.
According to sources within the ministry, the registration process will remain accessible through the official online portal. The initial deadline for registration was September 8.
To date, over 21,000 pilgrims have successfully completed their registration. Sources have also verified that private Hajj operators are required to prioritize individuals who were unable to perform Hajj in the previous year, despite finalizing the registration process.
Private operators will be authorized to process new applications to utilize any remaining quota.
Pilgrims who made deposits last year are eligible to perform Hajj this year without incurring supplementary charges, and operators are obligated to provide assistance without demanding additional fees.
However, individuals who opted to withdraw their deposits following last year’s cancellation will not be entitled to the previously offered package rates.
