FBR Empowers Field Formations to Enforce Revenue Collection Targets
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has authorized its regional offices to undertake enforcement actions against taxpayers to meet revenue targets for April and May 2025.
The FBR has issued directives to the Chief Commissioners Inland Revenue, Large Taxpayers’ Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayers’ Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) regarding the collection of taxes for the fiscal year 2024-25.
To successfully achieve the set targets for the fiscal year 2024-25, proactive enforcement measures are required. Therefore, all LTOs, MTOs, CTOs, and RTOs will remain open on Saturdays as regular working days until June 30, 2025, the FBR stated.
