SECP Registers DIGI Insurance Limited

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has officially registered M/s DIGI Insurance Limited, granting it the authorization to conduct non-life insurance operations.

In connection with this decision, the SECP has released SRO 1335(I)/2025.

As per the official notification, the registration was executed under the authority vested by sub-section (1) of Section 7, read with sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Insurance Ordinance, 2000. The notice confirms that the SECP has registered M/s DIGI Insurance Limited to engage in non-life insurance activities, specifically digital-only operations as defined by the Insurance Rules, 2017. The scope of business includes activities outlined in sub-clauses (i), (ii), (vii), (viii), and (ix) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Ordinance, effective from July 22, 2025, and is contingent upon meeting the conditions specified in the registration certificate.
