State Bank of Pakistan Announces Bank Holiday

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that it will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, which will be observed as a bank holiday.

According to a notification from the central bank, “The State Bank of Pakistan will not be open for public transactions on July 1, 2025 (Tuesday), as it will be a bank holiday.”

The notification further stated, “Consequently, all banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) will remain closed to the public on this date. However, employees of these financial institutions are required to report to the office as per their usual schedule.”
