Asia Cup 2025 Schedule Announced: Pakistan and India to Clash on September 14

DUBAI: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has revealed the schedule for the Men’s Asia Cup 2025, set to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The highly anticipated match between Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 14.

The forthcoming edition of the continental tournament will utilize the T20 format, serving as preparation for the T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka will jointly host in February.

Eight teams, divided into two groups, will compete for the title. Pakistan and India are in Group A, along with UAE and Oman. Group B consists of Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong.

The tournament commences on September 9 with a match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

Pakistan begins its campaign against Oman on September 12, followed by the match against India on September 14.

Pakistan’s final group-stage match is against the UAE on September 17.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, potentially leading to another encounter between Pakistan and India on September 21.

The final, featuring the top two teams from the Super Four stage, is scheduled for September 28.
