Agha Encourages Strong Fan Support for T20I Series

Lahore: Pakistan’s T20I captain, Salman Ali Agha, has voiced his anticipation for his team to replicate their Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 performance in the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, set to begin on Wednesday.

In a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the all-rounder expressed optimism regarding the team’s readiness for the series. He highlighted the significant contributions of several players during the recent PSL season, which he recognized as a premier global T20 competition.

“Our practice session yesterday was very beneficial, and the team is showing excellent cohesion. Many of our players are entering this series on the back of impressive performances in the HBL PSL X, a highly competitive T20 tournament,” Agha remarked.

“We aim to leverage that positive momentum as we move into this series,” he added.

Acknowledging Bangladesh’s capabilities, Salman Agha Ali anticipates a competitive challenge from the visiting team. He also appealed to fans to attend the matches in large numbers to promote the spirit of cricket.

“Bangladesh is a strong team with talented athletes, and we foresee a tough contest. I believe the fans will be treated to some exciting cricket in the coming days,” Agha commented.

“I urge all fans to come out and support not only us but also the overall spirit of the game.”

The three T20I matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh are scheduled to take place at Gaddafi Stadium on May 28, 30, and June 1.
