Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is ranked as the top Pakistani university in a range of subject areas in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, marking a significant milestone for higher education in Pakistan.

Standing out as the leading business school in Pakistan, LUMS has been placed in the 101-150 global band in several subject areas, including Business and Management and Accounting and Finance. The rankings highlight the quality of its humanities and social sciences programme, with LUMS sharing the top rank in Economics.

The QS subject rankings are based on several indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact, and international collaboration. LUMS’ performance across disciplines this year reflects the strength of its faculty, the quality of its research, and the rigour of its academic programmes.
