The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a stern warning to the public regarding a fraudulent website that is impersonating its official portal. This fake site, designed to deceive users, mimics NADRA’s official visa portal and can be accessed at `https://www.visa.nadragov.online`. NADRA has emphasized that this website has no affiliation with the authority and could be used to illicitly obtain personal information or financial details.

Citizens are strongly urged to avoid visiting this fake website or submitting any personal data to it. The sole official NADRA visa portal is `https://visa.nadra.gov.pk`. The authority also reiterated the importance of always using websites that conclude with the `.gov.pk` domain for official services.

In a related development, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT) released an advisory detailing the blocking of nine fake NADRA-like websites within the last month. These sites were reportedly engaged in attempts to steal citizens’ personal data. The advisory also cautioned individuals against sharing personal information without proper verification and advised them to refrain from clicking on suspicious links received via email or text messages. Both NADRA and NCERT are actively monitoring and addressing deceptive online activities to protect citizens.
