KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling exhibited stability in trading on Tuesday, according to market observers, with demand for foreign currency remaining soft amid relatively quiet trading activity.

Commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,660/3,670 at 0817 GMT, which was consistent with the closing rate observed on Thursday.
