The Organic Meat Company Gains Approval for Direct Exports to Carrefour UAE

The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has announced its qualification for direct exports to Carrefour Majid Al-Futtaim -Hyper Market LLC (MAF) operations across the United Arab Emirates. The company communicated this development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday.

TOMCL stated that it has become an approved vendor for all Carrefour (Majid Al-Futtaim -Hyper Market LLC) UAE retail networks by exceeding Carrefour (MAF)’s demanding quality criteria. This significantly broadens the company’s regional presence and solidifies its position as a reputable provider of halal meat in key Middle Eastern retail markets.

The company mentioned that this achievement follows TOMCL’s successful fulfillment of Carrefour (Majid Al-Futtaim – Hyper Market LLC)’s extensive audit of systems, hygiene standards, and operational effectiveness, where the company secured a score of 94.89%. The assessment evaluated TOMCL’s comprehensive adherence to global benchmarks.

Previously, on August 5, the company declared a substantial expansion of its international market reach with its entry into Tajikistan, marking a new territory within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. The company confirmed it had received export orders for frozen boneless beef valued at $3.24 million, scheduled for fulfillment during the current fiscal year.
