Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan Following International Market Trend
On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a downturn, mirroring declines observed in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs348,600, marking a decrease of Rs700 throughout the day.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also decreased, reaching Rs298,868 after a reduction of Rs599.
Previously, on Thursday, gold rates in Pakistan had remained consistent, aligning with the stability in the international market.
The global gold rate also saw a decrease on Friday, reaching $3,302 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), which represents a $7 decrease, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs3,380.
