Two police officials were martyred in a targeted gun attack on Friday evening in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The officers, Constable Jamaluddin and police driver Zahid, were ambushed while dining at a local hotel. The assailants opened fire at close range and escaped the scene.
Security forces have sealed the area and launched an extensive manhunt. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack, calling it a cowardly act of terror. He expressed solidarity with law enforcement and demanded swift justice for the fallen officers.
