The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted the federal government an extension until January 24 to submit the details of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s foreign visits. This decision follows repeated delays in providing the requested records. The IHC had previously instructed the government to submit the details by December 20, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs failed to comply. The Foreign Ministry cited the absence of the Foreign Secretary due to an official visit to China as a reason for the delay.

In addition, the court emphasized the importance of cooperation with Dr. Fouzia Siddiqui, who had arrived in the U.S. and is yet to meet Pakistan’s ambassador. The court ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate this meeting promptly
