Pakistan’s military spokesperson, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry (DG ISPR), has accused India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval of being the chief architect of a state-sponsored terror network operating inside Pakistan.
In a public briefing, the DG ISPR alleged that India has institutionalized terrorism as an official policy, funding and directing banned militant groups to destabilize Pakistan’s internal security. He specifically mentioned recruitment networks and sleeper cells that have carried out attacks in regions such as Balochistan and North Waziristan.
The spokesperson unveiled audio recordings and forensic evidence allegedly proving the involvement of serving Indian army officers in orchestrating these activities. According to the military, these officers have been directly handling recruitment, training, and the coordination of terror attacks within Pakistan.
Lt Gen Chaudhry described recent bombings and targeted killings as part of a wider strategy to weaken Pakistan’s stability and derail its development. He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s nuclear deterrent remains secure and robust, rejecting any notion that these tactics could undermine the country’s sovereignty or security infrastructure.
He called for greater international attention to what he described as a pattern of state-sponsored terrorism, arguing that such activities threaten not only Pakistan but also regional peace and stability.
