Brandon McMullen (Scotland)

Scotland’s Brandon McMullen distinguished himself in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2, playing a vital role for his team throughout the month.

  • The 25-year-old scored 233 runs in five ODIs with a strike rate of 107.87 and an average of 58.25.
  • McMullen also took 10 wickets, maintaining an economy rate of 5.08.
  • He achieved two half-centuries against the United Arab Emirates and a century against the Netherlands in Utrecht, helping Scotland reach 380/9, their highest ODI total.
  • He also took 4/55 in the same match, contributing to a 145-run victory.
Milind Kumar (United States)

Milind Kumar played an instrumental role in the United States’ success in the Cricket World Cup League 2.

  • The 34-year-old scored 201 runs in four matches at an average of 67 and claimed nine wickets.
  • Kumar became the first American player to score a half-century and take a five-wicket haul in the same ODI against Oman in Lauderhill.
  • He posted his best bowling figures and then scored 68 off 65 balls, leading the game to a Super Over.
  • Kumar also hit an unbeaten 115 off 67 balls against Canada, including 12 fours and five sixes.
