PCB Announces Training Camp for 22 White-Ball Players

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called up 22 prominent white-ball players for a training camp, including senior players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, according to sources.

The selected players will attend the camp in Lahore in three groups, commencing on June 3, 4, and 5, respectively.

During the camp, the PCB will brief the players on future strategies and evaluate their fitness levels and performances.

Sources indicate that senior players will participate in all three training sessions, which will also feature top performers from the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.

Furthermore, Pakistan’s white-ball head coach, Mike Hesson, will engage with the leading performers to provide updates on upcoming plans.

Pakistan’s white-ball team has entered a new phase under the guidance of former New Zealand head coach Hesson.

Hesson began his tenure successfully, with the team securing a 3-0 T20I series victory against Bangladesh, marking their first home series win since December 2021.

Following the series victory against Bangladesh, Pakistan is scheduled for a short break before returning to Bangladesh next month for a potential three-match T20I series.
