PSL 10 Final to Feature Performances by Abrar, Nadeem, Rizwan, and Hussain

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 final, pitting the Quetta Gladiators against the Lahore Qalandars, will be a spectacular event. The match is scheduled to take place today at Gaddafi Stadium.

The PCB aims to elevate the event with a lively showcase starring some of Pakistan’s most celebrated performers. These performances are slated for the mid-innings interval of the final match.

Audiences will be treated to appearances by renowned vocalists Abrar-ul-Haq and Nadeem Abbas. Additionally, Rizwan Mirza and Hussain Ali Pracha are also scheduled to provide entertainment with their acts.

Complementing the musical performances, a vibrant fireworks display will illuminate the stadium, adding to the excitement of the championship game.

This is not the first instance of the PCB incorporating cultural elements into the league. Earlier, amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, PSL 10 was temporarily suspended.

Upon its recommencement on May 17, a celebratory program was organized during the match between the Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi.

During that weekend (May 17–19), the PCB also dedicated the PSL games to the Armed Forces of Pakistan, in recognition of their commitment and sacrifices.

Notably, the PSL 10 final was originally planned for May 18 at Gaddafi Stadium but was postponed to May 25 because of tensions between Pakistan and India. The league schedule was then adjusted accordingly.

In previous encounters this PSL season, the Qalandars and Gladiators have met twice. The Qalandars emerged victorious in their initial clash, securing a 79-run win, while the subsequent match concluded without a result.

Since the league’s inception in 2016, these teams have competed against each other 20 times. The Qalandars, who have won the title twice, dominate the head-to-head record with 11 wins, while the Gladiators have claimed victory eight times.
