PSL 10: Remaining Matches Likely at Single Venue

KARACHI: Sources have indicated a potential window for the eight pending matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.

According to inside information, there is consideration of conducting the remaining matches of the prominent league between May 17 and 25. Due to logistical concerns, a single venue is the most probable option.

Furthermore, sources mentioned ongoing discussions between the league administration and franchises regarding the participation of international players.

Reportedly, franchises are eager to secure foreign players, showing flexibility with replacements if players are unavailable.

Sources further stated that the official schedule for the remaining matches will be revealed by the league administration once all agreements are finalized.

The PSL 10 faced postponement near its conclusion, with just eight matches left to play.

After 27 matches, Quetta Gladiators lead the points table, having already secured a spot in the playoffs, with six victories, two defeats, and one match with no result out of nine.

Karachi Kings hold the second position with 10 points, achieving five wins and three losses in eight matches. The defending champions, Islamabad United, are in third place, also with 10 points, after five wins and four losses in nine games.

Lahore Qalandars are currently in fourth place with nine points, having won four matches, lost four, and had one no-result match. Peshawar Zalmi are in fifth place with eight points from four wins in nine matches.

Multan Sultans have been eliminated from playoff contention after securing only one victory and suffering eight defeats in their nine matches.
