Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Amid Global Uptrend
On Tuesday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced an increase, mirroring gains in the global market. The price of gold per tola in the local market climbed to Rs356,100, marking a rise of Rs6,100.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs5,232 to reach Rs305,300, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The previous day, Monday, saw the gold price per tola reach Rs350,000, after an increase of Rs7,800.
Furthermore, the international gold rate also saw an upward adjustment on Tuesday. The APGJSA reported the rate at $3,377 per ounce (including a premium of $20), reflecting a $61 increase during the day.
In a related trend, the price of silver per tola also experienced an increase, reaching Rs3,482 after a gain of Rs57.
