Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan
On Tuesday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upswing, mirroring gains in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market escalated to Rs356,100, marking an increase of Rs6,100.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs305,300, reflecting a rise of Rs5,232.
The previous day, Monday, the per tola gold price had reached Rs350,000 after an increase of Rs7,800.
Internationally, the price of gold also saw an increase on Tuesday. The APGJSA reported the rate at $3,377 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is a $61 increase during the day.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola also saw a boost, reaching Rs3,482 after gaining Rs57.
