Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Following Global Market Trend
On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upswing, mirroring gains observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market escalated to Rs350,000, marking an increase of Rs7,800.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs300,068, reflecting a rise of Rs6,687.
Previously, on Saturday, the gold price per tola had decreased by Rs2,300, settling at Rs342,200.
The international gold rate also saw an increase on Monday. APGJSA reported the rate at $3,316 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is $76 higher than the previous rate.
The price of silver also saw a boost, with per tola reaching Rs3,425 after an appreciation of Rs43.
