PTA Introduces Temporary Mobile Registration System for Visitors
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a Temporary Mobile Registration System to facilitate international travelers and overseas Pakistanis using their personal mobile phones in Pakistan, according to an official statement.
Under this initiative, visitors can register their devices for up to 120 days, a facility available upon each visit to Pakistan, stated the authority.
This user-focused system aims to provide seamless mobile connectivity for visitors, thereby enhancing communication during their stay in the country.
The registration is free and fully digital, accessible via the official Device Registration System portal at: https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/drs.
The PTA is dedicated to offering effective, innovative, and inclusive services with a focus on users, the statement added.
By maintaining high standards, the PTA seeks to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and a better communication experience for all visitors, promoting convenience and reliability throughout their time in Pakistan.
