BOSTON: The Boston Celtics continued their impressive playoff journey, securing a 109-100 victory against the Orlando Magic in Game 2 of the first round, thus establishing a significant 2-0 advantage in the series.
Powered by an outstanding showing from Jaylen Brown, the Celtics successfully fended off a resilient Magic team at TD Garden on Thursday.
Brown delivered an electrifying performance, topping all players with 36 points across 42 minutes. He also contributed 10 rebounds and five assists, underscoring his comprehensive skill set and leadership on both ends.
Boston established control early, outscoring Orlando in the first and third quarters to seize command and ensure a comfortable victory.
Kristaps Porziņģis offered crucial assistance with a noteworthy double-double, amassing 20 points and 10 rebounds. Derrick White added 17 points, making critical shots to stifle Orlando’s progress.
