HEMS 2025 Concludes with $432 Million in Anticipated Business Deals
The fourth Health Engineering and Minerals Show (HEMS) 2025, organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), culminated with the signing of 24 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across various key sectors. These include minerals, pharmaceuticals, automotive, gems & jewellery, surgical instruments, and chemicals, with projected business transactions valued at $432 million.
TDAP stated that the event successfully concluded on Saturday, April 19, at the Lahore Expo Centre, solidifying Pakistan’s role in international commerce. As a key event for Pakistan’s industrial and trade development, HEMS 2025 attracted approximately 900 international delegates from over 70 nations, in addition to 194 exhibitors and 21 innovative startups displaying the country’s diverse industrial capabilities.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif graced the occasion as the chief guest, along with notable figures such as Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister; Ali Pervaiz Malik, Minister of State for Finance & Revenue; Jam Kamal, Federal Minister for Commerce; Jawad Paul, Federal Secretary for Commerce; Faiz Ahmad, Chief Executive of TDAP; and Sheryar Taj, Secretary of TDAP. On April 18, a special inaugural dinner was hosted at the Nishat Hotel in Lahore, during which the Prime Minister lauded TDAP’s efforts to enhance Pakistan’s global trade presence.
The three-day exhibition facilitated 2,200 B2B meetings across essential industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, surgical instruments, agricultural machinery, home appliances, furniture, cosmetics, sports goods, construction materials, automotive, minerals, and packaging. These interactions set the stage for substantial commercial partnerships.
