Pakistan Chemical Forum 2025 to convene in Lahore this April
LAHORE: The “Pakistan Chemical Forum 2025,” a significant three-day affair, is scheduled to occur from April 24th to 26th at the Expo Centre Lahore.
Mian Abuzar Shad, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), along with Moazzam Rasheed, a former Executive Committee Member, shared these details during a press briefing held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
President Mian Abuzar Shad of the LCCI highlighted that the Pakistan Chemical Forum 2025 is on track to become the nation’s premier event for the chemical and related sectors. It will gather domestic and international industrialists, researchers, academics, students, and investors, providing a collaborative environment for interaction, learning, and professional networking.
The event is set to host numerous booths showcasing chemicals, raw materials, machinery, lab equipment, and finished goods. A substantial number of international participants are anticipated to attend, underscoring Pakistan’s increasing prominence in the global chemical market.
He mentioned that the exhibition will feature four specialized segments representing diverse areas within the chemical industry. These include the Pakistan Coating Show, displaying paints, inks, and construction chemicals; the PAKCHEM Expo, with a focus on basic chemicals and petrochemicals; the Polyurethane Expo, spotlighting items like foam, footwear materials, and insulation; and the PAKLAB Expo, dedicated to comprehensive laboratory solutions, including instruments, testing services, consumables, and specialized furniture. Each of these sub-exhibitions signifies rapidly expanding fields with significant potential for exports and industrial advancement.
Moazzam Rasheed, previously a member of the LCCI Executive Committee, noted that beyond commercial activities, the forum will function as a hub for knowledge exchange and skill enhancement. A series of conferences, seminars, workshops, and training sessions are planned alongside the exhibition, offering attendees valuable perspectives on the latest technologies and trends.
The event will also present a unique initiative called ChemSMART, designed to empower young graduates and entrepreneurs by offering them a venue to present their groundbreaking ideas directly to industry leaders and prospective investors. This initiative is projected to stimulate innovation, boost youth involvement, and promote local entrepreneurship.
Mian Abuzar Shad voiced his optimism that the Pakistan Chemical Forum 2025 will make a substantial contribution to boosting Pakistan’s exports, strengthening its reputation as a production-focused economy, and demonstrating to the world that Pakistan is not merely a consumer market but a vibrant and capable manufacturing nation.
