King Charles Issues Statement Amid Claims of Ignoring Prince Harry’s Calls

Amid allegations that he has been disregarding phone calls from his son, Prince Harry, King Charles has issued a fresh statement. Sources have indicated that the monarch has created distance from the Duke of Sussex, with Harry’s efforts to get in touch reportedly being ignored.

Reports suggest that the bond between Charles and Harry deteriorated completely after the Duke of Sussex accused the Royal Family of removing his security detail as a method to “control” him and pressure him and Meghan to remain in the UK.

In a recent message shared on his official Instagram account, Charles wrote, “The central message of Easter is that God cherished the world so deeply that He sent His son to reside among us to demonstrate how to love each other, and to sacrifice His own life for others in a love that proved more powerful than death.”

“There are three virtues that the world still needs: faith, hope, and love,” he continued. “And the greatest of these is love.”

“It is with these enduring truths in my thoughts, and in my heart, that I extend to you all a blessed and peaceful Easter,” the message concluded.

A report by a prominent publication indicated that the “emotional divide between father and son has only grown.”

Their most recent encounter occurred in February 2024, when Harry paid a swift visit following the King’s announcement of his cancer diagnosis.

Since that time, the pair have not had any private conversations, according to the report, which also stated that Harry’s calls and letters are going unanswered and he lacks substantial information regarding his father’s current health status.

“I don’t anticipate any reconciliation. The situation remains unchanged,” a source from within the Palace revealed, while another commented, “They are not close.”
