A British teenager, Max Budgen from Petersfield, Hampshire, has secured a Guinness World Record at the age of 17. He meticulously hand-drew a flip-book spanning 1,300 pages.
Max shared with Guinness World Records that the creation of his flip-book, titled “Thunder Strikes,” took him several days to complete.
He mentioned that he would find time to draw while sitting at his desk, during school, and even on train journeys.
Max also noted the challenges he faced during his record attempt. He pointed out that flip-books are typically designed to be brief, engaging, and have captivating narratives.
He admitted that around page 500, he began to feel somewhat uninspired and faced a creative block. Nevertheless, he reminded himself that achieving world records is not meant to be an easy feat. With renewed determination, he persevered and continued his work.
