The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted predominantly dry weather across most regions of the country over the next 24 hours. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise, particularly in the plains, leading to warmer conditions.

Morning temperatures recorded in major cities were as follows:​

  • Islamabad: 11°C
  • Lahore: 20°C​
  • Karachi: 24°C​
  • Peshawar: 14°C​
  • Quetta: 6°C​
  • Gilgit: 2°C​
  • Murree: 7°C​
  • Muzaffarabad: 12°C​

These conditions are expected to persist, with daytime temperatures rising in the plains.​

In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, dry weather is anticipated in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Morning temperatures in these areas were:​

  • Srinagar and Anantnag: 2°C​
  • Jammu: 12°C​
  • Leh: -6°C​
  • Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla: 1°C​

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions against the increasing daytime heat, especially in the plains. Staying hydrated and avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours is recommended.​
