Pakistan has entered a new phase of digital development with the rollout of 5G services under the strategy of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), where more than 300 5G sites have been activated across the country.

Services launched in major cities and key locations mark significant progress in next-generation connectivity, as internet speed and service quality are expected to greatly enhance.

The introduction of 5G spectrum will support Pakistan’s growing digital economy, according to Khurram Schehzad, Advisor to the Finance Minister, who said in a statement that these services will greatly benefit citizens.

Jazz, part of the VEON Group, has announced an additional investment of $1 billion in Pakistan over the next three years, underlining its commitment to expanding 5G services across the country.
