Government Clarifies COAS Notification Amid Rumours

The federal government has categorically rejected claims of a civil-military rift following the issuance of a notification regarding the Chief of Army Staff’s (COAS) role in the Central Development Fund (CDF). Officials stressed that the notification was a routine administrative matter, fully consistent with constitutional and legal frameworks.
