Islamabad’s Capital Hospital is set to undergo a significant transformation as the Capital Development Authority Board has approved a move toward a fully cashless system along with broader upgrades. In its recent meeting the Board discussed a comprehensive revenue generation plan for the hospital and decided to revise the current fee structure for private patients under the Institutional Based Private Practice model.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed that the funds generated through this plan should be reinvested into the hospital to enhance patient care and improve available facilities. He instructed the procurement of new and modern computers and medical equipment to digitize services and ensure smooth implementation of the cashless system. The decision reflects a broader strategy by the Authority to improve health infrastructure in the federal capital through technology adoption and transparent revenue management.
With these measures Capital Hospital Islamabad is expected to offer a more efficient patient experience, reduce administrative delays and bring its services in line with modern healthcare standards. The move marks a shift toward innovation in public health management and shows the CDA’s commitment to raising the standard of medical facilities in Islamabad.
