Pakistan’s Foreign Reserves Increase
The total liquid foreign reserves of the nation experienced a rise of USD 21.4 million, culminating in a total of USD 19.681 billion by the conclusion of last week, specifically as of September 5, 2025.
During the week that was assessed, the reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) saw an increase of USD 34 million, bringing their total to USD 14.336 billion.
Conversely, the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks witnessed a decrease of USD 12.4 million, settling at USD 5.345 billion at the close of the preceding week.
