Pakistan and Kazakhstan Pledge to Enhance Strategic Partnership
Islamabad: Recognizing substantial opportunities, Pakistan and Kazakhstan declared their commitment on Tuesday to bolster their strategic alliance, aiming to elevate bilateral relations across various sectors.
In preliminary remarks before delegation-level discussions, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu jointly affirmed their dedication to strengthening the enduring bilateral bonds in commerce, economics, and other vital fields.
DPM Dar noted the considerable potential for both nations to elevate their relationship.
He conveyed that Pakistan champions regional and broader peace, stability, advancement, and prosperity, notably for Central Asian countries.
The deputy prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s aspiration for a robust partnership with Kazakhstan, asserting that mutual respect, confidence, and goodwill would underpin shared aspirations for peace and prosperity, given their aligned perspectives on numerous regional and global concerns.
Ishaq Dar stated he anticipates Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev’s visit in November, emphasizing that finalizing the visit’s comprehensive agenda is a primary objective of their delegation-level discussions.
Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu communicated his nation’s eagerness to broaden engagements and foster closer ties.
“Our partnership and dependable friendship possess profound and resilient foundations. This association has been proven over time and holds significant potential for expansion,” the Kazakh deputy prime minister stated during his initial two-day formal visit to Pakistan.
Referring to his Monday interactions with government officials and business leaders in Islamabad, he mentioned that both parties addressed numerous pertinent topics of mutual interest to promote bilateral cooperation.
The Kazakh deputy prime minister voiced optimism that President Tokayev’s impending visit would mark a fresh milestone, forging new momentum and injecting dynamism into bilateral relations.
