Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the direction of Health Minister Mustafa Kamal, the government has pledged to ensure the timely availability of quality, safe, and effective medicines and medical devices to the public.

This initiative is part of broader healthcare reforms that focus on improving public health infrastructure and regulatory oversight through the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).

The goal is to enhance trust in healthcare services, reduce dependency on counterfeit or substandard products, and promote health security by providing high-quality pharmaceuticals and devices nationwide.

Authorities emphasize that this step will strengthen Pakistan’s ability to deliver efficient and transparent healthcare services, in line with international standards.
