Ogra Announces Revised RLNG Prices Effective July 1, 2025

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has declared modifications to the prices of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG), which will take effect in the current month, commencing July 1, 2025.

According to an official statement from Ogra, adjustments have been implemented for RLNG prices concerning Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) across both transmission and distribution sectors.

For SNGPL, the updated transmission cost is now $10.8338 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), a reduction from the previous $11.0154. This represents a decrease of $0.1816, equivalent to approximately 1.65 percent. The distribution price has been adjusted to $11.5787 per mmbtu, down from $11.7816, indicating a decrease of $0.2029, or 1.72 percent.

Similarly, SSGC’s transmission price has seen a reduction from $9.7284 per mmBtu in June to $9.4713 in July, marking a 2.64 percent decrease. The distribution price has also decreased, moving from $10.8650 per mmBtu to $10.5737, which is a reduction of $0.2913, or 2.68 percent.

Ogra clarified that the decrease in RLNG prices is primarily attributed to a slight reduction in the DES (Delivered Ex-Ship) price.
