Second Group of Pakistani Cricketers to Depart for Bangladesh on Wednesday
The initial contingent of the Pakistan cricket team, featuring captain Salman Ali Agha, has already journeyed to Bangladesh for the upcoming three-match T20I series, which is slated to begin on July 20.
Reports indicate that a total of seven players – captain Agha, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, and Khushdil Shah – along with their accompanying support staff, traveled from Karachi to Dhaka via Dubai.
The remaining members of the national squad are scheduled to leave for Bangladesh on Wednesday morning.
These T20Is will be held against Bangladesh on July 20, 22, and 24, with all games taking place at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
This series is a rematch between the two teams, following Pakistan’s 3-0 victory on home soil in May.
Earlier in the week, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) unveiled the ticket prices for the series, which range from Tk 300 to Tk 3,500 to accommodate various fans.
The BCB has implemented a digital-first strategy for ticket sales, with tickets available exclusively online through the official eTicket platform from July 15.
