Stokes Arrives Early for Test Match

Lord’s Cricket Ground shared a video showcasing player arrivals before Day Four of the third Test between England and India. The footage revealed England’s captain, Ben Stokes, was the first to arrive.

The video indicated Stokes reached the venue at 8:50 AM local time, almost two hours prior to the scheduled 11:00 AM start.

He also signed an autograph for a young fan before entering.

Fast bowler Chris Woakes arrived next at 8:55 AM, followed by pacer Josh Tongue at 9:06 AM.

India’s Nitish Reddy was the first from his team to arrive, reaching the ground at 9:07 AM.

Other arrivals included Ben Duckett at 9:22 AM and Jasprit Bumrah at 9:45 AM, who also greeted fans and signed autographs.

England were earlier dismissed for 192 in their second innings, setting India a target of 193.

Joe Root scored 40 runs, while Ben Stokes added 33. Harry Brook made 23, and Zak Crawley contributed 22. Five English batsmen scored less than 10 runs.

For India, Washington Sundar took four wickets, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj each took two, and Nitish Kumar Reddy and Akash Deep claimed one each.
