SAAF Observers to Join PAF Exercises
Lt Gen Mbambo expressed interest in having South African Air Force officers participate as observers in Pakistan Air Force operational exercises. Such exchanges are expected to promote tactical learning and strengthen cooperation between the two air forces.
Maintenance Collaboration for C‑130 Fleet
Acknowledging Pakistan’s efficient and cost-effective aircraft maintenance systems, the South African air chief proposed collaborating on inspection and maintenance services for South Africa’s C‑130 transport fleet in Pakistan.
Call to Institutionalise Defence Relationship
Both delegations expressed a shared desire to formalise and institutionalise cooperation mechanisms between the South African Air Force and Pakistan Air Force, ensuring long-term and sustainable defence partnerships.
